Sounds familiar!

In order to make alsa-hdsp recognize the hdsp you have to downgrade the
firmware of your card(bus) to revision 10. There is a flash update tool
available at http://www.rme-audio.de/english/download/drivers_archive.htm
You'll have to do that in windows. And downgrade your win drivers too if
you want to keep windows.

I'm submitting the bug to alsa/sourceforge.
