yes.  create [pix_videodarwin 720 480] and it will be DV resolution. 
i'll have to check the source to see if HQ is enabled (it's is on 
pix_film).  multiple devices is a bit trickier but i think we can 
hack in the standard vdig control panel.   someone showed me the code 
the other day.  now if i only had multiple capture devices....

there will be more fine tuning of the external display use.
