hello would anybody know what the best way to get mono 8 bit 8000khz ccitt u-law encoded wav files into pd? i've been using sfread~ and they're coming out a little funny... the files come from a vxml application that only encodes things this way. just in case you were wondering why anyone would want such files in pd. thanks -sven
