[PD] 8 bit 8000khz u-law files

err, by converting them to 16bit 8000hz pcm files (the closest
uncompressed approximation to ulaw).

if you are on linux, use sox.. if you are on windows, any decent wave
editor should do it. surely cooledit is still around?
