Hi all,

I've been searching for this in the archives and haven't been able to
find anything that solves the problem:

I'm running the newest pd 0.36 "extended version installer" on Mac OS
X. I have a Tascam US-428 midi interface set up that's recognized by
Mac OS X's "Audio Midi Setup" application. When I launch Pd, though, I
never receive any notein signals - When Pd starts up, I get the
following trace in my terminal window:

  pd -midiindev 1 -nomidiout
reading startup file: /Users/xxxx/.pdrc
TASCAM US-428 MIDI Driver: New Unit 0 OnLine

I've tried it with -midiindev 0, -midiindev 1, -midiindev 2, nothing
works for me, no signals actually get into Pd.

Does anyone have any advice on how I might troubleshoot this problem
further?

Thanks,
Peter
