methinks that there is some problem with cvs. I don't know if it's a
general problem or if it's just on your side.
It seems that your checked out files have a wrong line feed for your
Windows system which confuses nmake and the compiler.
I'll have a look into it.

Normally, the libc conflict does not have serious consequences but it's
not necessary that there is a conflict. I'll try to resolve it.

I'm fine with that. I think it's a bad habit to rely on all PD (which
is an audio software for people making music) users being programmers.
I'm striving not to.
