Well at least I know I can get the data fed into his environment
I'm not sure it'll come off though.
Basically, if there was any time we'd get together etc but it's in 2
days and he said he might turn up on the night with his powerbook but
wasn't sure if he could get the data in etc...

http://www.opendragon.com/ has a few tcp/ip externals for Max/msp that
are
capable of recieving regular text messages if I remember correctly. But
maybe not. But anyway, they're for regular tcp/ip connections and you
can
send whatever back and forth. But I don't remember how Max handles the
data
once it's there.
