[PD] sound daemon with esd?

Thanks for the info about netreceive and pipeio~, I hacked u_pdsend.c into
my application and it works great.

I'd like to run pure-data and freebirth on my machine at the same time.  
To let them both access the sound card, I've tried using enlightenment
sound daemon, but pure-data doesn't work with the daemon.

Is there another daemon that might work or another  way to get this
functionality?
