Only using the pix_write method to produce individual frame images which can
then be reassembled.

Output recording to a compressed movie file is in the GEM to-do list but at
this stage probably isn't really close to the top.

If there are any Windows programmers lurking with experience in openGL/
Video For Windows/ DirectShow then the GEM development team would appreciate
your help!
