[PD] Fwd: no sound on Macos

I think if (3) is easy that's the best.  In my experience portaudio almost
always moves in the direction of greater robustness.

FYI I'm right now getting ready to try PA V19.  My guess is that it will
soon be robust enough to use in the main Pd dist.
