they do (at least here), if MouseState is being banged, e.g. using
metro.  They do not, indeed, if using 'poll' mode -- same in max.

Ok, the 'poll' is a misnomer, perhaps, since it is actually metro
which does the polling.  It should be 'callback' or something...
