[PD] best implementation suggestions

Hi,
I have a GOP abstraction, and I want it to be able to create a graphical array of arbitrary size and name on it's parent given a certain action (such as loadbang). What are your comments on the best way of doing this? I really have no idea where to start. examples attached to replies are welcome.
