hi list

i'm trying to use bonk~ messages to control
videoevents. bonk~ standalone works just fine, but
if i send them to another patch, which controls
the video, a quicktime (pidip),
audio input crashes (it's just the
pd input, i can still hear the sound). the wired
thing is that it works for some seconds (5-10) and
than bonk~ has no input anymore - the peek meters is
frozen. pd is still runnig, just without audioinput,
after restarting pd everything is ok, until i use these
two things together.

some system-info:
debian 2.4.20
pd-0.35-0
dell inspiron 8100 (maestro3)
alsa-drivers (0-9.0rc6)
pidip-0.11.0
pdp-0.11.1

how could i solve the problem? is it too much for
my system to run bonk~ and pidip together, or is it
just because of some drivers???

marc
