[PD] (no subject)

Hi Folks,

I am a quite new user of PD and my problem is, that I don´t have much test-patches that would help me understanding the objects and the handling of the programm. Could you give me some advise and/or links where I can find simple synthesizer or audio-processing algorithms?
My second problem is that I could not manage it to integrate externals in PD. Typing 
-lib and the name of the folder did not work out. How should I do?
