[PD] Help! PD glitching on Mac OS X...

Hello all,

I have been experiencing several slow-downs lately, and now all of a 
sudden, I can't open any PD windows. And, it also appears that none of 
the externals I have setup in my .pdrc file are not loading. I tried 
running without any .pdrc file, but nothing seems to change. PD starts 
up, opens up the audio control window, and then appears to stop. I can 
still call up any menus, but they don't really do anything once I select 
a file or something.

I did try to reinstall everything from the extended installer, but it 
seems to think that I have a newer version of PD installed, and it can 
not go back to an older version.

I did try to recompile PD after not being able to reinstall, but nothing 
seems to have changed. Externals still don't load (or at least they 
don't announce themselves), and PD still will not open any patches.

I even tried to run the 0.37 version I have, and it does the same thing 
as well. I am pretty sure that my problems are not related to my limited 
testing of 0.37, as these things started before I downloaded it. I 
didn't save any patches with it.

Does this sound like the problem might be a TK/TCL thing? How might I 
reinstall those parts. I got my version from Adam's extended installer.
