yes but not in a traditional type of thing (www.creazone.32k.org/doc/mis).  There are many apps that can serve as multiFX processors for guitarists (check linux-sound.org, there's an entire section) but they all have drawbacks (like, a lot of them can't be tweaked in real-time).  There are quite a few interesting LADSPA plugins available (multi-voice chorus, various distortions, maximizers, limiters, etc) so you could probably build something custom using the plugin~ extern (it's in the cvs).
