[PD] mkdir through pd

Hi list,

I was wondering if there has been any documentation or
though on the possibility of using common shell
commands through pd, such as mkdir, cp, and ls (mkdir,
copy, dir for windows users).  The purpose is that I
want an easy way to store recorded controller
information for playback/automation, and directories
seem to be a nice way to organize things.  I parsed
the list a tad but couldn't find anything useful.  If
anyone has any idea or information pertaining, thanks
in advance.
