[PD] open a pd patch with -nogui

Hi,

i have a patch that uses a gripd file as graphical interface. I made a .bat 
file so that i can open the patch easily with a double click, but i don't 
want to see the PD patch, only the gripd graphical interface.

So i introduced the -nogui flag in the .bat file : it does what i want, but 
everything slows down terribly, does anybody know why and what to do about 
it?

Also: once i have opened the patch without gui, how do i close it?
