[PD] GEM SUCKS!

     j/k :) but i need help installing it. i go to the links provided in
the installation instructions for linux, and most of those webpages are
gone. can somebody throw up a page with all the needed prereqs and
EVERYTHING else ONE MIGHT NEED to install this crap?
