hello Adrian,

the pd.darwin is precompiled, so all you need to do is tell PD about it.

on command line: 

pd -lib [path to gem]/Gem

eg: if your Gem.pd_darwin is in the root of your "home" you type:

[wherever pd is]/pd -lib ~/Gem

you must not specify the .pd_darwin part.

If your using the double click installer you should find the .pdrc file (invisible in OSX) and add at the bottom -lib [path to gem] same as above without the pd part.

I'm currently doing a private beta of a program that will do all this for you, if your interested in bleeding edge let me know.
