Sorry. RTFD: PD is not an acronym, unless everyone is pronouncing it as 
"pidhh", "puddy", or some other equally pimply-faced prounounciation. (Then 
again, who knows, hardcore geeks can acronymize almost any combination of 
consonants).

If you just say "Peedee", then it's not an acronym.
