[PD] midi problems on OSX

hi,

i have tried to use pd (extendet 2 version on osx) as an interface 
between midi and OSC controlled applications and have some problems 
with midi:

- some midi messages are lost

- sometimes a note value (notein) comes to late (with the next noteon 
event)

is there a solution for this problem?
i'm a little bit sad, because pd may be the ideal tool for my purpose
