[PD] low latency

Thank you for your help. This list response is amazing.

- latency tests show a nice 3-6 ms (on a Celeron 700)
- alsaplayer works OK.
- pd -oss works fine.
- pd -alsa spits out errors :

snd_pcm_hw_params_set_period_size_near (input): Invalid argument
Using ALSA interface

I guess the PCM part of my alsa driver is bad.
The error also occurs with -audiobuf <anything>
Does someone knows about solving this error ?
