hi Olaf, hi all

I'm having exactly the same problem for authentication with icecast2.

I've tried downloading again pdogg but as far as i read in the HISTORY
file inside oggcast~ subdir:

--- HISTORY ---
Version history of oggcast~ external for pure-data

v 0.2h (27th March 2003):
- added HTTP base auth login for (alpha) Icecast2 server:
message 'server 1' switches to Icecast2, 'server 0' back
top JRoar and PeerCast compatibility (which is the default)
---

so it seems i'm not being able to get your bugfixed version (0.2i) as
you mention below.
I tried getting it from the specified link @akustische but, v0.2h seems
to be what I get.

I'm running pd-0.37test11, latest (yesterdays and about a month ago
also) icecast2 CVS snapshot on
a mix between debian unstable + sarge from DEMUDI.

tell me if you need further output
how to proceed?

TIA
Regards,
rama
