currently there is no way to get a subpatch's samplerate (which could 
differ because of up/downsampling).
probably a [siginfo~] (or rather an enhanced functionality of 
[block~]/[switch~]) would be a good idea that would allow gathering of 
block-specific information of the signal-vectors, such as vector-size, 
overlapping & samplerate. ([bang( to [block~] could output a list of 
these values. so finally the inlet of [block~] would become meaningful...)
