[PD] pd-open..

Actually, this thread just reminded me about the 2.open_close patch in 
the pd-msg docs.
In it, its got [; pd open abstraction.pd .( and [; pd pd-abstraction.pd 
menuclose( but neither work.  I was able to get [;pd open 
abstraction.pd .( to work in one patch, but then I couldn't reproduce 
it.

Does anyone know how this works?
