hmm...
i guess it is quite obvious if you know of it. so i'm sorry that i have 
no real answer, although i guess, i know more "not so obvious" things 
which i wouldn't classify as such.

anyhow, for render-multiplication i would rather use somthing like
"gemlist"

but this would not work for 5000 objects....
