[PD] MIDI in an Ibook OSX

Before my poor ibook died a watery death, I was using midi with a USB
midiman(m-audio) midisport 2x2, with much success.  I was using it with
Reason at the time, and was able to get about 11 sec latency with 10.2
and a very early blueBerry iBook.
