use 2 [curve] objects and [translateXYZ]

if you are using "view" to change the viewpoint of your world, use a 
negative number as argument for [gemhead] to *not* move the crosshair 
with the viewpoint

i think this is the windows-behaviour; on linux you will get the normal 
mouse-pointer, while on macOS you have the "busy"-pointer
