Hey, that's an idea!
Actually, it'd be way cooler if the signal patch cords changed colors
depending on (1) rms or (2) frequency of the signal (it could be user
configurable) and the control patch cords would just blink yellow or
somesuch depending on their state.

Oh, and transparent main canvas a la Eterm.
