[PD] jack and maudio quattro

hallo

does somebody uses pd with jack and the maudio quattro?
i can connect pd with jack but get some strange stuttering clicks in the
test signal.

outsidse pd i get clear signal from jack.

i'm using alsa-0.92, with .asoundsrc from the the alsa-usb howto (shirkley).
jack 0.90 compiled from source, pd-037.0, debian 2.4.22 with low latency 
patch
and changes for realtimemode in capabilities.h.

any idea how to get these card working with pd?
with which options do i have to start jack to get nice performance with pd?
