Oh ok, good to know i'm not going crazy :)

Does anyone happen to have a .dll of the cvs version, or the ability to 
make one?  unfortunately i'm on a tight deadline and i dont have a copy 
of VC6.  if i have to i'll work around this, but i'm not really in the 
mood to reimplement recrusive copying in an abstraction :)
