I don't think I'm doing anything special, I did compile from sources, not
using a package...

What speciffically is crashing for you? Random or repeatable?
What examples? lemme know and I'll try here.
(did you check where the crash occurs with gdb?)

I get a few unrepeatable segfaults in gem CVS, but I can never reproduce
them...
