[PD] [ot] hard disk recording

hi!

does anybody know about a free hard disk recording program
and a waveform editor for mac os x (panther)?

(i tried to compile snd on my mac without any success..., i know that
there is something one has to change in the makefile(s) but the changes in
the readme didn't really help...)
