thanks for the info.

But i read that the Edirol UA - 1000 card that uses usb2, 
reaches transfer rates of about 480 kbps. On the other 
side there is the Hammerfall (PCMCA) that goes with only 
170 kbps ? Doesnt this info tell everithyng about speed?? 
or are there also other facts that need to be concidered.

I use a pentium 3 (900 Mhz) with Win xp.
