[PD] GEM OSX

hi, im new to pd and even newer to gem. it seems im missing something 
to get it work. i have even downloaded the newest gem.pd_darvin but 
with no improvement. loading a tutorial-patch brings up err-messages 
like:

whats wrong? any osx-users of gem around? (didnt find anything in 
archive)
actually i want to control QT-movies (framerate, overlay with 
transparency). is gem the way to go? i also tried jmax/dips but have 
problems with that too.
