I've read a release announcement somewhere (harmony-central, I
believe) which says that the source will be released later on.  No
licensing information has been provided, IIRC.

Seems to me they're trying to compete with jack :) which BTW got the
first open source merit award  [http://www.opensource.org/osa/awards.php]
