[PD] more osx/jack issues?

hello-

perhaps this is somewhat of a redundant post by now, but trying to run 
pd 0.37test6 from miller's site with jack for osx.2.8, i'm running into 
the following:  first, pd doesn't seem to recognize -jack (as in "./pd 
-rt -jack") at the command line.  second, when i try to circumvent this 
by using "./pd -audioindev 3 -audiooutdev 3" (where "dev 3" is "jack 
audio server"), i get this:

Could not create format converter: error = 0x666D743F = 'fmt?'
PaOSX_OpenCommonDevice: PAOSX_DevicePropertyListener failed.
: error = 0x666D743F = 'fmt?'
Error number -10000 occured opening portaudio stream
Error message: Host error.

i realize that pd doesn't exactly work per se with jack under osx yet, 
but i thought i'd take a shot at it.  any thoughts?
