oh, If makesymbol is like makefilename this may not
work for what I am trying to do...
my two symbols are variables so that they change.
A-N1
A-N2
A-N3
A-R1
A-R2
B-N1
B-N2....
stp1
stp2
stp3...
so I want to put these two sets of variable names
together. If makesymbol I must put say [makesymbol
A-N1%s] where the left inlet would recieve the
variable [stp17( then I would have to have some
hundred makesymbols, and then route them somehow so
that [makesymbol A-N1%s], [makesymbol A-N2%s],
[makesymbol A-N3%s]... it seems like there should be
a better way, I have many variables that I want to put
together.
confused, and not explaining very well???
thanks for any more help.
