dos anyone now how the cart2pol and pol2cart objects work . .?

cart2pol i got working with:

xy(-1...1)

cart2pol

2. outlet
*360
/2Pi
+180

= 0...360

but how coudent figure out how to get back with pol2cart to xy(-1...1)

0...360
