the most simplest thing would probably to consult the help-patch for 
these objects.

unfortunately the wrong patch is searched for by default (something like 
zexy/cart2pol.pd instead of zexy/coordinates.pd), so you'll have to open 
it manually.

hint: i found it most amazingly, that if you feed the outputs of 
[cart2pol] to the inlets of [pol2cart] you will get exactly the same 
values that you fed to [cart2pol].
