finally I did a quick remaster based knoppix 3.3 with debian packaged pd-0.37, gem, pdp, pidip, cyclone, osc ... and knoppix alsa-drivers defaults to alsa, but jack is onboard too ( but since I am quite new to it with a possible weird setup) hope it is useful - you still find it here http://stream.sil.at/pdknoppix/ m.
