I don't know of anything in particular, but it might be able to 
organize something at The Frying Pan, its an old ship that's now docked 
and been turned into a nightclub/art venue.  Frylab, an informal group, 
meets there to jam from time to time. http://frylab.info/  Maybe its 
time to organize a Pd stammtisch.
