[PD] Still with the Gem!

I am still working on getting Gem to compile. I posted a bug to the fedora core bugzilla. I bet they will say that its not their deal, but who knows.

I printed out my ldconfig in case fltk (which correctly installed with GL) somehow used a different version of libGL.so. Here are all the libGL.so that ldconfig finds: my question is this; am I correct to assume that libGL is my problem, and that one of these libraries isint playing nice, or is it indeed a gcc problem?

my libGL\'s
libGL.so.1 (libc6, hwcap: 0x8000000000000000) => /usr/X11R6/lib/tls/libGL.so.1
libGL.so.1 (libc6, hwcap: 0x8000000000000000) => /usr/lib/tls/libGL.so.1
libGL.so.1 (libc6) => /usr/X11R6/lib/libGL.so.1
libGL.so.1 (libc6) => /usr/local/lib/libGL.so.1
libGL.so.1 (libc6) => /usr/local/src/Mesa-6.0/lib/libGL.so.1
libGL.so.1 (libc6) => /usr/lib/libGL.so.1
libGL.so (libc6) => /usr/X11R6/lib/libGL.so
libGL.so (libc6) => /usr/local/lib/libGL.so
libGL.so (libc6) => /usr/local/src/Mesa-6.0/lib/libGL.so
libGL.so (libc6) => /usr/lib/libGL.so

My compile error: (a bunch of these)
/usr/lib/libc_nonshared.a(elf-init.oS)(.text+0x1c): In function `__libc_csu_init\':
: undefined reference to `__init_array_end\'

Any words?

Thanks for your time,
