in the current CVS the GLUT-dependency is removed. so you everyone can 
have a teapot.

i have also fixed the ftgl code a bit: checking for valid pointers when 
destroying the objects - as i have seen this might have been a problem 
somewhere in a mail (yours) ?

and some other major bug-fixes which i am very proud of (but only effect 
you, if you have Gem running ;-()
