[PD] xeq - problem

Hello list!

I have some problems with the xeq-external:
I managed now to play midi files through this external, but I can't figure
out (after looking through documentations), how to record midi files.

Everytime I try to write the file I get this error message:
"request to write empty midifile ignored"
but m midi file isn't empty !!!

Thanks for any help!!
(My system: xeq and pd from the latest win-installer and WinXP)
