[PD] writesf~ and Windows

By "work OK" I really meant "work at all" in my case. I am using v0.37 of
PD. I have tried using writesf~ with the help patch - DSP on, open the file,
click "bang" and allow it to run its course, click "print", but no new
sound file turns up. Perhaps I am using it wrong?
