If you don't want to store the file in memory and just want to "play" them 
(not process them), you can also use:

readansysf~  (only linux for now)
http://aug.ment.org/readanysf/download.php

sfplay~  (windoz and linux)
ftp://ftp.iem.at/pd/Externals/wr/
