gosh! what version of ffmpeg are you using ??
 i think it's oke with 0.4.8
or the one i recommend :
http://tdegoyon.free.fr/ffmpeg-cvs-2003-03-04.tar.gz

if it's so hard, you can also not enable ffmpeg,
but it should work with these versions.
