[PD] XML parser

Hello list,

I'm thinking about implementing an XML parser object for PD (using Xerces 
C++) and would like to hear
any comments/suggestions before I start.

I'll use it to read structured meta-data (described in XML) about modules 
in a system we're developing.

I'm interested in hearing your ideas on how a general-purpose xml object 
for PD should work (that is,
if you think it has any uselfulness ;).
